Davis Bertans’ transfer to Dubai BC has been officially announced.
The 32-year-old, 2.08-meter Latvian forward Davis Bertans has officially joined Dubai BC, as announced by the Arab club on the morning of Tuesday, September 10. Having played 475 games in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Charlotte Hornets, the experienced player will now join Jurica Golemac’s Dubai BC team, which is set to embark on its historic debut in European competitions and the ABA League.
Last season, Bertans appeared in 28 games for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 20.8 minutes per game with 8.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists. Earlier in the season, while playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he recorded 2.9 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 15 games, averaging 6.3 minutes per game. After his NBA career, Bertans is taking on a new challenge with Dubai BC.
