Roma Places Ukrainian Striker Artem Dovbyk on the Transfer List
Italian Serie A side AS Roma has put Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk up for sale. According to Italian media reports cited by Calcio in Pillole magazine, the 27-year-old forward is not part of new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s plans for the upcoming season.
Dovbyk joined Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) from La Liga side Girona in 2024. However, after a brief spell in England, he made the move to Serie A. Despite contributing significantly to Roma with 12 goals in 32 league appearances, the Ukrainian forward has not secured a place in the new technical setup.

Who is Artem Dovbyk?
Born in 1997, Artem Dovbyk began his football career in Ukraine. He made a name for himself with standout performances for Dnipro and SK Dnipro-1. In 2021, he transferred to Danish club Midtjylland before returning to Ukraine, where he became the top scorer in the Ukrainian Premier League with SK Dnipro-1.
In the 2023–24 season, Dovbyk impressed in La Liga with Girona, attracting interest from several European clubs. Known for his physical strength, aerial ability, and sharp goal-scoring instincts, he continued to display his quality at Roma. Dovbyk is also a key figure in the Ukrainian national team.
