Hungary’s Women’s Basketball National Team secured a significant 87-66 victory over Brazil in Kigali, Rwanda, advancing from Group C to the next stage of the World Championship qualifiers. After a loss to Senegal in their opening game, Hungary bounced back with impressive performances against the Philippines and Brazil. Key to the team’s success was Kiss Virág, who led with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Kányási Veronika also played a pivotal role, contributing 10 points, while Studer Ágnes added 8 points. The team’s cohesive play was evident in their 27 assists.
