Bulgarian National Team Player Joins a Famous Hungarian Club
Bulgarian national team player Simeon Petrov has joined Hungary’s renowned club MOL Fehérvár on loan from the Polish side Śląsk Wrocław. The 25-year-old defender will play in Hungary until the end of the season, with Fehérvár holding the option to purchase his rights permanently.
The Székesfehérvár-based club announced that they beat elite clubs from Bulgaria, Switzerland, and Israel in the race to sign Petrov. He will wear the number 3 jersey at Fehérvár, marking an important step in his career.
Petrov initially transferred from CSKA 1948 to Śląsk in early 2024 and played 82 matches for the Polish club over nearly four years. He has also made nine appearances for the Bulgarian national team.
