Tabriz’s Tractor Continues with Skocic
Tractor, the historic club of Tabriz and this season’s champion of the Iranian Pro League, has extended its contract with head coach Dragan Skocic. According to a statement from the club’s press office, the new deal with the Croatian coach will run through the end of the 2026/2027 season.
Skocic has been managing Tractor since 2024. Under his leadership, the team stood out with its disciplined play and consistent performance, culminating in a league title this season.
About Tractor SC
Officially known as Tractor Sports Club (Tractor SC), the team was founded in 1970 in the city of Tabriz, located in Iran’s Azerbaijani region. Tractor has one of the largest fan bases in Iran, particularly popular among the ethnically Turkic population of the region. The club plays its home matches at the 66,000-seat Yadegar-e Emam Stadium.
Tractor aims for success both domestically and in Asian competitions, and continues to invest accordingly. The ongoing project under the guidance of Dragan Skocic is seen as a key part of the club’s long-term vision.
