Svetlana Osipova Wins Silver Medal at Paris 2024 and Makes History!

Competing in the women’s over 67 kg category, Osipova demonstrated an exceptional level of perseverance and skill to secure a silver medal.
In the final, Osipova faced off against the host nation’s representative, former world champion, and Tokyo 2020 bronze medalist Alteya Loren. The match was fiercely contested, with Loren initially taking the lead with a precise headshot in the first round. Osipova came close to leveling the score with a strong headshot of her own in the second round. However, Loren’s decisive final-second strike earned her the victory, leaving Osipova with the silver medal.
