Kyrgyz Boxer Munarbek Seyitbek uulu Makes History at the 2024 Olympics
In the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, Kyrgyzstan’s pride Munarbek Seyitbek uulu achieved a historic milestone by advancing to the semifinals.
Competing in the 57 kg weight class, Seyitbek uulu secured a significant victory in the quarterfinals by defeating the 2021 world champion, American Jamal Harvey, through a split decision. This victory marks Seyitbek uulu as the first boxer in Kyrgyzstan’s history to reach the semifinals in the Olympic Games.
