MASTER SCORE
Balázs Nyéki:
“It was crazy, a classic Champions League semi-final. We made many mistakes, tried to find the opponent’s weaknesses, and I think we succeeded in that. However, the Serbians also looked for our weaknesses. The important thing is that we stayed mentally strong in the end and managed to win the match, which means we deserve to be in the final, and that is no small feat.”
Zsivko Gocics:
“It was a great match, but there were many elements that we can use to teach the boys what not to do in such an important game. Thanks to Fradi, they fought hard and did very well, but I take my hat off to my team. We didn’t come here to lose in the semi-finals, but after many chaotic situations, we lost by missing a five-meter shot, which shows how much better Fradi was. I’m not sure if Filipović was truly brutal, this decision isn’t good for the sport as it deprived him of the chance to play in the final. Even without Jaksic, we had a chance to win, but we couldn’t make it happen.”
